Are we really on the cusp of mid-summer already? I hope this newsletter finds you cool and content, ice cold beverage in hand and relaxing with a good read.
Speaking of which, my new book, MIGRATIONS, will be published soon, well before summer’s end. Written in the Novel-In-Stories genre, MIGRATIONS probes the meaning of freedom, home, and our place in the world through the experiences of a variety of characters whose lives intersect. The book can be approached as individual short stories or as one integrated tale. More info on its release date coming soon!

On another note, I am pleased to announce that 48 Hills San Francisco scored 9 honors from the California Newspaper Publishers Association in July 2026. My artist profile column with 48 Hills was included in the wins with a first place award in the Fine Arts Writing/Reporting category. Go 48 HIlls! I’m so proud to be part of this dedicated and stellar team! Thank you to our readers for your ongoing support of independent, progressive journalism. Read the 48 Hills article here for more details on the awards.
That’s it for now. Carry on. Go forth and chill.
