Flash + Micro Flash

If you’re new to this genre, as am I, allow me to illuminate.

Flash Fiction is a piece of writing that typically does not exceed 1000 words.

Micro Flash is a piece that does not exceed 300 words. Bigger than poetry but not by much.

In essence – Every Word Counts!

In collaboration with Tom McGuire, check out our book of micro fiction, “Centuries: 100 Stories in 100 Words” with 100 of my illustrations to accompany each story. Click here to go to the Books / Art Books section for details on this quirky and fun little book and how to purchase it.

In the meantime, here are three selections of Flash Fiction:

Life is Tofu – From the Food for Thought collection, published in Scuzzbucket on March 18, 2023.

If You Want to Know Me – From the Flash Drive-by collection, published in Scuzzbucket on July 9, 2021.

Visitor – A flash fiction version of the short story from the Ephemerata collection, published in (mac)ro(mic) Magazine on April 7, 2021.
