About Me
I work professionally as a freelance writer, editor, book designer, proofreader and content contributor for online and print publications, private businesses, and news journals. Creatively, I pen collections of short stories, non-fiction essays and more. As a visual artist, I work primarily in the medium of painting.
I am a former yoga teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area with a focus on the Ashtanga tradition while integrating all wisdom traditions and practices into one universal, accessible practice. I enjoy travel and being active outdoors as a road cyclist, mountain biker, hiker, and back country camper. I enjoy a challenge, a good story told well, poetic visuals, inspiring voices, and simple pleasures.
Whether in words on paper or paint on canvas, I seek to capture a simple moment, thought, or gesture of the ordinary while suggesting the mysterious layers that lie beneath the surface. This contemplation is my constant source material.
